Function:
Domestic inverter is supposed to have basically two
functions. i.e. to charge
the battery while the mains is ON and to convert the stored
energy to 220 V
A.C suitable to operate house hold appliances like fans,
tubes, T.V. etc.
With the
improved technology and availability of reliable components,
now the
customers has wide choice to select from a basic inverter to
PWM controlled
inverter. POWER HOUSE- the dedicated team is now
introducing series PSI- the
most advanced technology in inverter with many
added features.
Features of series PSI :
Fixed out put frequency:- With
incorporation of latest specialized IC and other
dedicated components for oscillation control, the out put
frequency is fixed at
50 Hz. It does not vary with the
load condition and battery voltage variation.
PWM Controlled:- In inverter section,
Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control
technology is incorporated for regulated out put voltage.
Output voltage
variation is kept within safe limit
irrespective of load variation or battery
voltage variation.
Over Load Protection: During inverter
operation, the load current is constantly
monitored with
the safe value set. If the load exceeds the safe limit, it
signals
the oscillator section for shut down, thus saving
the inverter from damages
due to overloading.
Auto Re-Start:- If the inverter stops
due to overloading, it will restart after
preset delay thus eliminating the trouble to assess the
inverter and manually
re-set it. On re-start, if the load
is exceeding of it’s capacity, it will again
shut down. This process of sampling the load keeps
on at preset intervals.
On switching OFF the excess
load, the inverter starts supplying normal
output.
Charging at low Voltage:- With
incorporation of thyristor controlled circuitry
at primary voltage. Charging of battery is not effected
from 130 V to 270V.
CC / CV mode Charging:- Charging
circuitry incorporates Constant Voltage /
Constant Current controller and hence safe even for SMF
batteries.
Easy Serviceability:- All the
control circuitry is wired on a one double sided
glass epoxy PCB with plug in type connectors. This
facilitates in easy
serviceability of the inverter.
Compact and elegant look: Series PSI
inverters are housed in vertical,
compact and elegant
looking sheet steel enclosure finished with powder
coating.
